You pretty much summed up all of the Foamy episodes :P

Salad Fingers Episode 6

"Triumphant return for Mr. Fingers"

date: July 24, 2005

Just when you think you've got the hang of Salad Fingers, along comes another episode and shakes your whole world around. But I think that's what makes Salad Fingers something special. You don't fully understand it, but you come along anyway for the sheer strangeness of it.

It seems that for every question you answer two new ones pop up and the mystery becomes even more complex. I'm not sure if it's the series intention to explain itself, but wherever it's heading I'm with it all the way. The artwork has improved a bit in this episode, we see more details and shadows in the characters. Glad to see you haven't put it to rest yet!

Jewel:- Foolish Games

"Not my cup of tea"

date: April 24, 2005

I agree with what some other people have said, it's way too mushy and the song you selected for this movie didn't do much for me. Instead of trying to work with an ongoing story you limited it to stills moving slowly either to the left or right. And yeah, some of those stills are traced from Ryu and Cammy from Street Fighter Alpha I believe.

Nice art, but in the end it failed to convey the emotions and could've used more animation.

"Nice dark piece with subtle humour"

Y'know, the minute I saw this I couldn't help but feel the resemblence between this film and David Firth's Salad Fingers. Is this a parody of it or simply a coincidence? Either way, I like it and it's nice to see some oldschool NG'ers still kickin' it.

Star Wars: DD Episode II

"Pretty dull if you ask me"

date: January 16, 2005

Alright, according to the author of this flash film it takes place 500 years after the destruction of Death Star II. Amazingly, this doesn't seem to prevent Darth Vader from still being very much alive and evil, despite the fact that he died after his life-sustaining suit stopped working because of the damage he took from Emperor Sidious' lethal Sith lightning. Was this story written by an 8 year old?

And then we come to the poor excuse of animation, which is pretty much just a bunch of gradient-filled motion tweens moving at a painfully choppy framerate (nice hyperspace effect, by the way). In a desperate attempt to find a positive thing about the graphics, I'll say that you drew the characters and ships pretty well.

Nice try, but no cigar.

Author's Response:

I'll just try to see the bright side of your review and thank your for saying my hyper space effect looks nice. Ow that Darth Vader guy it's just someone who just wants to be like Darth Vader.

By the way this is part 2 so you'll see the pre-history in part one, it's not submitted but it'll come soon enough I think!

Thanks for the review anyway!:D

Sweet Mother of Vartan

"Like watching a Disney film"

date: January 8, 2005

This is simply a masterpiece as far as animation goes, very fluid and expressive character movements. You definitely have talent, man. Some of the voices could've sounded better, but they certainly don't ruin it. I look forward to future works from you!

"Penile goodness"

submission: Anniversary

Just when you thought you were safe, Tricky strikes back with a force that's unheard of. I liked both the serious and the funny parts of the movie, but why are all the Tricky clowns destroying Newgrounds? I can't make sense of it.

Author's Response:

If you had a ten story penis, wouldn't you use it to destroy Newgrounds? Thank you and Happy Clock Day!

Salad Fingers Episode 2

"Surprisingly well done"

date: July 16, 2004

You'd think a cartoon about a guy who has salad for fingers and lives in a cabin out in the middle of nowhere would be pretty boring, but if so you're wrong, my friend. Salad fingers is a very interesting character because he's so damn scary and he doesn't even seem to know it himself. I like how you explore more of that character trait in this episode. I hope you will continue making episodes because this has a lot of potential as a series, if done well.

Band on the Run

"Original and funny"

submission: Band on the Run
date: July 14, 2004

I like this kind of Beavis & Butthead-esque humour, it's the kind of awkward and random stuff that makes you gush out whatever you might be drinking and lie on the floor laughing. I'm looking forward to a second episode to see how their band does.

And people... PEOPLE... it's just a cartoon! No reason to go apeshit over two guys kissing.

"You bastard"

submission: Rokémon!

How could you let Zero, the second most powerful reploid ever created, lose to a god damn plant? That was just sad. But, I must credit you for a well done movie with lots of crazy effects and scenarios. I think I even spotted some homages to other Megaman parodies in there. But why... why, why, why did you make Zero lose? :(
